Information kept on your device

The Dream Closet stores wardrobe pieces, clothing photos, outfits, favourites, wear history, avatar and try-on selections, inspiration images, packing plans, calendar plans, reminders, shopping links, currency choices and other preferences in the app's private storage on your device.

AWS cloud storage and Dream Closet server-side accounts are not connected in this version. The developer does not receive the wardrobe photos or records stored by this local version.

Camera, photos and garment processing

Camera and photo-library access is requested only when you choose to photograph or select an image. Garment background removal runs on the device. The original or clean version selected by you is stored locally with the clothing item.

Photos are not uploaded to a Dream Closet server or sent to a third-party AI service in this version.

On-device intelligence and third-party AI services

In this version, clothing suggestions, outfit matching, garment-background separation, inspiration analysis and virtual try-on previews run locally on the device.

The Dream Closet does not send clothing or avatar photos, wardrobe data, your name, email, Apple Account identifier, location or any other personal details to a third-party AI provider. AWS cloud services and third-party AI services are not connected in this version, so there is no third-party AI recipient or transfer.

If a future version offers optional cloud AI processing, the app will identify the provider, describe the exact data that would be transmitted and request your separate, explicit permission before any transfer. This policy and the app-store privacy declarations will be updated before that feature is released.

Account access

On Apple devices, Sign in with Apple may provide a stable account identifier, name or relay email address according to your choices. On Android, this version creates a private local app account and Google Play identifies the account used for subscription purchases.

The app stores local access details securely on the device. Apple and Google operate their account and store services under their own privacy terms.

Subscriptions and purchases

The Dream Closet offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. Apple processes purchases made through the App Store and Google processes purchases made through Google Play. The app receives product, purchase and subscription-status information needed to unlock Premium access and restore eligible purchases.

The developer does not receive your full payment-card details. Deleting app data or signing out does not cancel a store subscription.

Location, weather and reminders

If you allow location access, the app may use your approximate location to suggest a default city and relevant weather-based clothing guidance. Your selected city and reminder choices are stored locally. You can deny location permission and choose a city manually.

Notification permission is used only for reminder categories and times that you enable.

Sharing and external services

Share Outfit opens the device's standard sharing menu. You choose the receiving app and recipient. The Dream Closet does not operate messaging, store recipients or retain conversations.

Shopping, magazine, Instagram, feedback email and other external links open third-party apps or websites. Their privacy practices apply after you leave The Dream Closet.

No social network, advertising or sale of data

The Dream Closet has no public profiles, feeds, comments, voting or in-app user messaging. This version does not include advertising trackers or behavioural advertising, and the developer does not sell personal information.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Local information remains on the device until you delete individual records, choose Delete all local data, reset the sample wardrobe, delete your account or uninstall the app. Apple or Google may retain account and transaction records under their own terms.

Profile includes a Delete account option. After two confirmations, it permanently removes the local Dream Closet account, wardrobe, clothing and avatar photos, outfits, plans, preferences and history, then signs you out. The Dream Closet has no remote account record to delete in this local release.

You can withdraw camera, photo, location or notification permission in device Settings. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Apple or Google account used for purchase.

Children and policy changes

The Dream Closet is a general-audience wardrobe tool and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect children's information through a Dream Closet server in this local version.

This policy will be updated before any future cloud storage, server-side account validation, analytics or materially different data use is introduced.
